Why yellow driving lights are needed:
1. **Enhanced Visibility in Poor Weather Conditions**:
- Yellow light has a longer wavelength than other colors, which allows it to penetrate fog, rain, snow, and dust more effectively. This means that yellow driving lights can improve visibility for drivers in inclement weather conditions, making it easier to see the road ahead and avoid hazards.
2. **Reduced Glare**:
- Yellow light produces less glare than brighter, whiter lights. This can be particularly beneficial for oncoming traffic, as it reduces the chances of blinding them and causing a dangerous situation. Reduced glare also means that drivers can maintain a clearer view of their surroundings without being distracted.
3. **Improved Road Awareness**:
- Yellow lights are more noticeable than other colors, making them an excellent choice for indicating turn signals, brake lights, or hazards. They can help alert other drivers to your presence and intentions, reducing the risk of collisions.
4. **Driver Comfort**:
- The warm, soft glow of yellow light can be more pleasant for drivers' eyes, particularly during long or night-time drives. This can help reduce eye strain and fatigue, which can improve overall driving safety.
